WYG International’s activities started in the late 1980s in response to the new opportunities and needs arising in Central and Eastern European countries in the post perestroika era. Working for national governments and the major development agencies, our first projects were concerned with economic reform. This focus quickly widened to address the range of concerns that arise in building modern democracies. Our geographic focus widened in parallel.
